An American Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N762AN performing flight AA-174 from Raleigh/Durham,NC (USA) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was enroute at FL360 near Iles de la Madeleine,QC (Canada) when the crew received a hydraulic quantity indication and confirmed there was a loss of hydraulic fluid. The crew decided to turn around and divert to Boston,MA (USA) where the aircraft landed safely about 95 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance identified a faulty actuator which was replaced.
