A Westjet Boeing 737-800, registration C-GZWS performing flight WS-1862 from Vancouver,BC (Canada) to Honolulu,HI (USA), was about 80nm west of Vancouver when the crew reported pressurization problems requiring them to return to Vancouver. The aircraft entered a holding to burn off fuel for 2 hours and landed safely on Vancouver's runway 26R about 2:45 hours after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration C-GWRG reached Honolulu with a delay of 5.5 hours.
