An Air Corsica Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-500, registration F-GRPZ performing flight XK-105 from Nice to Ajaccio (France), landed on Ajaccio's runway 02 at about 21:32L (20:32Z). The aircraft came to a stop with two blown tyres and was disabled on the runway.

The airport remained closed for the rest of the day and resumed service at about midnight. 3 arriving flights were diverted to Bastia (France) and arrived at Ajaccio after midnight.
