A postflight inspection revealed the Accessory Gear Box had fractured causing a tear and a crack of the gear box casing as well as low engine oil pressure and seizing the engine.
The airline reported the aircraft diverted to Delhi due to an engine issue. The 75 passengers were taken to hotels over night and continued to Kuala Lumpur the following day on flights OD-206 and OD-208.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Delhi about 43 hours after landing.
