A Malindo Air Boeing 737-900, registration 9M-LNF performing flight OD-572 from Hanoi (Vietnam) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with 91 people on board, was climbing out of Hanoi's runway 11R when the crew stopped the climb at 7000 feet due to the suspicion a tyre had blown. A runway inspection found tyre debris on the runway, ATC informed the crew, who in return declared emergency and decided to return to Hanoi. The aircraft burned off fuel and landed safely on Hanoi's runway 11R about 75 minutes after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Hanoi about 14 hours after landing back.
