A GoJet Canadair CRJ-700 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N653CA performing flight G7-4243/DL-4243 from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada), had landed on Toronto's runway 06R and had been instructed to hold short of runway 06L on taxiway D3. The instruction was read back correctly, however, the aircraft crossed the hold short line and incurred runway 06L eventually coming to a stop midway onto the runway surface.

The Canadian TSB reported an Air Wisconsin Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of American Airlines, registration N470ZW performing flight ZW-4162/AA-4162 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Philadelphia,PA (USA), was on the takeoff roll on runway 06L and became airborne before the intersection with taxiway D3.
