A Gojet Airlines Canadair CRJ-550 on behalf of United, registration N563GJ performing UA-4172 from Newark,NJ to Washington National,DC (USA), was climbing out of Newark when the crew stopped the climb at FL190 and entered a hold due to the cabin not pressurizing. The aircraft descended to 10,000 feet and returned to Newark for a safe landing about one hour after departure.

A passenger reported that the oxygen masks were deployed and they were instructed to use them. The aircraft returned to Newark, the flight was cancelled.
