An Aer Arann Avion de Transport Regional ATR-42-300 on behalf of Aer Lingus, registration EI-CBK performing flight RE-3205/EI-3205 from Kerry to Dublin (Ireland) with 14 passengers, was climbing out of Kerry when the crew reported the left hand engine (PW120) had been shut down and returned to Kerry for a safe landing on runway 26 about 20 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled, the airline confirmed an engine problem and said they offered bus transfer to Dublin, rebooking onto another flight or a refund to the 14 passengers.
