An Amerijet Boeing 767-300 freighter, registration N347CM performing flight M6-8620 from Brussels (Belgium) to Gander,NL (Canada) with 3 crew, landed on Gander's runway 13. During the roll out smoke developed in the cockpit, the crew brought the aircraft to a stop, donned their oxygen masks and declared emergency. Then the crew received a cargo fire warning for the forward cargo bay followed by a cargo fire warning for the aft cargo bay. The crew worked the related checklists, discharged the fire suppression systems, the smoke and the fire warnings cleared.

The TSB reported following inspection by emergency services the aircraft taxied to the apron. The crew were medically assessed. The inspection of cargo bays and cargo did not reveal any trace of fire.

The aircraft returned to service on Mar 3rd 2026.
