A Croatia Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration 9A-CTJ performing flight OU-417 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Zagreb (Croatia), departed Frankfurt's runway 18 but stopped the climb at FL070 when the crew reported hydraulic problems, as result they were unable to retract the landing gear. The aircraft returned to Frankfurt for a safe landing on runway 07C about 25 minutes later.

The aircraft remained on the ground for 11 hours, then departed Frankfurt as flight OU-7417, climbed to FL250 maintaining FL250 all the way to Zagreb and arrived in Zagreb about 12.5 hours after scheduled arrival time. The aircraft resumed service 6 hours after landing in Zagreb.
