An American Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N976NN performing flight AA-151 from Denver,CO to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) with 137 people on board, was climbing out of Denver's runway 08 when the crew requested to stop the climb at 10,000 feet to work on an issue, a short time later the crew declared emergency due to landing overweight and requested to return to Denver advising they had electrical and navigational outages, no assistance was needed. Emergency services took their stand by positions, the aircraft landed safely on Denver's runway 35L about 17 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration N838NN reached Chicago with a delay of 7.5 hours.
