An Air Canada Airbus A319-100, registration C-FYJP performing flight AC-154 from Edmonton,AB to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 159 people on board, was climbing out of Edmonton when the crew stopped the climb at FL240 due to an "ELEC 2 DC BUS FAULT" message and returned to Edmonton for a safe landing about 50 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced two circuit breakers, a connector and the #2 transformer rectifier unit.
