An Air Canada Boeing 767-300 freighter, registration C-FTCA performing flight AC-7260 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Miami,FL (USA) with 2 crew, was enroute over Atlanta,GA (USA) when the captain's Air Speed Indication (ASI) as well as Altimeter (ALT) went blank and showed red flags. The crew declared Mayday, the captain was able to regain ASI and ALT readings, the emergency was downgraded to PAN PAN and the aircraft continued to Miami.

The Canadian TSB reported: "During cruise, the aircraft started to descend from FL370 and the captain airspeed and altimeter instrument had no reading with a red flag. The crew initially declared Mayday for a block altitude while running A/S unreliable drill. A checklist was completed and the captain selected to an alternative source and recovered readings. The crew changed distress to PAN PAN and later cancelled declaration with ATC. The aircraft continued to KMIA without further incident."

According to ADS-B data received from the aircraft the aircraft had been enroute at FL360 and just descended, when the transponder stopped transmitting ADS-B data at FL350 and did not resume sending data until end of flight.

FAA radar data suggest the aircraft was subsequently at FL370 and continued to Miami, the FAA radar data ceased when the aircraft descended through 15000 feet on approach to Miami.
