A Norwegian Air Sweden Boeing 737-800, registration SE-RRF performing flight D8-5608 from Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain) to Stockholm Skavsta (Sweden) with 125 people on board, was descending through about FL250 when the crew received a TCAS resolution advisory to climb and followed the resolution. A flight attendant received a serious injuries (broken leg) as result of the evasive maneouver. After being clear of conflict the crew continued the descent and landed on Skavsta's runway 26 about 16 minutes later.

Sweden's Statens Haverikommission (SHK) rated the occurrence an accident and wrote: "During the approach to Stockholm/Skavsta Airport, a so-called TCAS Advisory Resolution was triggered, instructing the aircraft to climb in order to avoid a potential collision with a group of JAS 39 Gripen that had just taken off. The maneuver resulted in a serious injury to a member of the cabin crew." An investigation has been opened.
