An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N597AS performing flight AS-606 from Seattle,WA to Las Vegas,NV (USA) with 146 passengers, was enroute just about reaching the top of descent about 25 minutes prior to landing when the first officer fainted and became unconscious. The captain declared emergency and continued the flight for a safe landing. The first officer was taken to a hospital.

The airline confirmed the first officer suffered a medical problem and was incapacitated, the captain landed the aircraft safely.
