A Westjet Encore de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration C-FNEN performing flight WS-3120 from Fort McMurray,AB to Edmonton,AB (Canada) with 72 people on board, was on final approach to Edmonton's runway 30 when the crew selected the gear down but did not receive a gear down and locked indication for the left main gear. The aircraft went around, the crew worked the related checklist, performed an alternate gear extension but still did not receive a green light for the left main gear. The crew now worked the landing gear indicator malfunction checklist and verified that all three gear were down and locked, but declared PAN PAN as a precaution. The aircraft landed safely on its second approach.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced an unserviceable bulb in the gear indication panel.
