A Westjet Encore de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration C-GTWE performing positioning flight WR-8989 from Regina,SK to Calgary,AB (Canada) with 2 crew, was accelerating for takeoff from Regina's runway when the first officer's PFD did not display any airspeed. The crew rejected takeoff and returned to the apron.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance recommended to perform a second takeoff. The aircraft taxied out for departure a second time, accelerated for takeoff but needed to reject again due to no airspeed indication at the first officer's side.

The TSB reported maintenance subsequently inspected the #2 Air Data Unit and found a seal was not fully seated. The fittings were removed and reinstalled, subsequent testing was successful.

The aircraft returned to service 9 days later.
