A Delta Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-88, registration N907DE performing flight DL1588 from Memphis,TN to Tampa,FL (USA), was on final approach to runway 19R descending through 1000 feet AGL when the aircraft flew through a flock of birds, one bird impacted the radome of the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 19R about 2 minutes later.

The FAA reported the aircraft received damage to the radome.
