A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-GTAT performing flight QK-8355 from Penticton,BC to Vancouver,BC (Canada) with 48 people on board, was climbing out of Penticton when the crew received a hydraulic caution indication together with an indication of reducing quantity in the #2 hydraulic system. The crew stopped the climb at 9000 feet and decided to divert to Kelowna,BC with the landing gear extended. The crew declared emergency as a precaution and landed safely at Kelowna about 30 minutes later.
