An Orenair Boeing 737-800, registration VP-BEZ performing flight R2-9540 from Sharm el Sheikh (Egypt) to Moscow Sheremetyevo (Russia) with 157 people on board, was descending towards Sheremetyevo Airport when the crew reported a flaps problem and stopped the descent at FL050 climbing back to FL060. The aircraft entered a hold to troubleshoot the problem and burn off fuel and landed safely in Sheremetyevo at a higher than normal speed.
