A SriLankan Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration 4R-ALS performing flight UL-121 from Colombo (Sri Lanka) to Chennai (India) with 142 passengers, landed on Chennai's runway 07. During roll out the outboard forward right hand main tyre burst.

The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight UL-122 after 10 hours on the ground.
