A Brussels Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration OO-DWB performing flight SN-2263 from Brussels (Belgium) to Copenhagen (Denmark) with 83 passengers and 4 crew, was cleared to descend to FL140 and was descending from FL350 through about FL320 towards Copenhagen when the crew donned their oxygen masks and reported the loss of cabin pressure and rapidly descended the aircraft to FL080. The crew continued the approach and landed safely on Copenhagen's runway 04R about 25 minutes later.

The aircraft was able to perform the return flight after about 3 hours on the ground cruising at FL240, landing in Brussels with a delay of 2:20 hours delay.

Denmark's Havarikommission (HCL) reported maintenance identified a defective bonding at the pressure control box which led to false indication of cabin pressure.
