A Brussels Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration OO-SSV performing flight SN-2294 from Stockholm (Sweden) to Brussels (Belgium), was accelerating for takeoff from runway 08 when the crew rejected takeoff at low speed (about 70 knots over ground) due to an engine (CFM56) warning indication. The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

Passengers reported the departure had been delayed by about 2 hours due to a warning light, maintenance cleared the aircraft for departure, however, the captain announced that during the takeoff run that warning indication had re-occured.

The airline reported a technician inspected the engine and said everything was fine, however, during the takeoff run the same warning light came on again. The aircraft is now being examined.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Stockholm about 26 hours after the rejected takeoff.
