A Transavia Boeing 737-800, registration PH-HZO performing flight HV-6757 from Groningen (Netherlands) to Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain), was in the initial climb out of Groningen's runway 23 when the crew reported a bird strike causing right hand engine (CFM56) vibrations between 4 and 5 units, stopped the climb at FL060, reduced the right hand engine to idle thrust and diverted to Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. The aircraft landed safely on runway 36R about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration PH-HXI reached Palma Mallorca with a delay of 2.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Amsterdam about 27 hours after landing.
