A Cargojet Boeing 767-300, registration C-GVIJ performing flight W8-569 from Hamilton,ON to Vancouver,BC (Canada), was on final approach to Vancouver's runway 08R when the crew reported a flaps problem and went around. The crew requested emergency services on stand by and performed a safe landing.

The Canadian TSB reported that maintenance replaced the #3 flap position transmitter and the left flap/stabilizer position module.

The occurrence aircraft suffered similiar events on Dec 28th, see Incident: Cargojet B763 at Cologne on Dec 28th 2016, flaps problem and Dec 29th (no further information available yet) again.
