A Flybe de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration G-ECOP performing flight BE-1143 from Glasgow,SC to Jersey,CI (UK) with 50 passengers, was climbing out of Glasgow when the crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet and returned to Glasgow for a safe landing about 45 minutes after departure.

The airline reported the aircraft returned to Glasgow due to a "suspected minor technical fault".

A replacement Dash 8-400 registration G-ECOB reached Jersey with a delay of 5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 11 hours after landing back.
