An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZBC performing flight U2-7925 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Nice (France), was enroute at FL370 about 30nm north of Luxembourg (Luxembourg), when the crew needed to shut an engine (CFM56) down due to loss of oil pressure. The aircraft drifted down to FL220, turned around and returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 27 about 80 minutes after departure, vacated the runway and taxied to the apron with emergency services in trail.

A replacement A319-100 registratin G-EZAM reached Nice with a delay of 6.5 hours.
