An Easyjet Airbus A320-200, registration G-EZWK performing flight U2-3211 from Edinburgh,SC (UK) to Fuerteventura,CI (Spain) with 132 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL390 about 70nm north Santiago de Compostela,SP (Spain) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL080 and diverted to Porto (Portugal) for a safe landing on runway 17 about 35 minutes after leaving FL390.

Spain's CIAIAC reported the aircraft was dispatched with the bleed air system #1 (left engine CFM56) inoperative. In flight while in Spanish Airspace about 70nm from Santiago de Compostela a bleed air leak warning activated on engine #2 causing the loss of cabin pressure. The crew activated the APU, donned their oxygen masks and diverted to Porto. The CIAIAC opened an investigation into the occurrence.
