An Exploits Valley Air Service Beech 1900D on behalf of Air Canada, registration C-FEVA performing flight AC-7804 from Goose Bay,NL to Gander,NL (Canada) with 14 passengers and 2 crew, landed on Gander's runway 03, however, the nose gear collapsed causing the aircraft to skid on its nose to a stop. 3 passengers received minor injuries.

Passengers reported the crew advised they had a 50/50 chance to make it into Gander due to weather, they would divert to Deer Lake in case they could not make it into Gander. The final approach was seriously turbulent, the aircraft struck the runway nose first, which spun the aircraft around doing a 360, the right hand propeller made contact with the runway surface causing damage to the propeller blades, at least one separated and struck the side wall of the cabin but did not penetrate the cabin.

The Canadian Transportation Safety Board (TSB) dispatched a team of investigators on site and is collecting data.
