Envoy E175 near Little Rock on Mar 30th 2016, turbulence injures two flight attendants

An Envoy Embraer ERJ-175, registration N226NN performing flight MQ-3358 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Memphis,TN (USA), was enroute at FL270 about 75nm south of Little Rock,AR (USA) when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing injuries to two flight attendants. The aircraft diverted to Little Rock for a safe landing on runway 22L about 30 minutes later. The flight attendants were taken to a hospital.

The FAA reported the two flight attendants received unknown injuries, the occurrence was rated an incident so far.

Passengers reported that the aircraft encountered severe turbulence causing everything loose to lift off cabin floor, tray tables etc., including the flight attendant's trolley which fell back onto a flight attendants. Tumblers with juices, coffee or tea also lifted off and poured their contents over passengers.

The airline reported the aircraft encountered turbulence, two flight attendants were taken to a hospital, there were no passenger injuries.
