An American Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N794AN performing flight AA-61 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) to Tokyo Narita (Japan), was enroute at FL340 about 260nm southeast of Seattle,WA (USA) when the aircraft encountered turbulence at about 22:10Z causing a flight attendant to receive injuries. The flight crew decided to divert to Seattle for a safe landing about 40 minutes later.

The FAA reported the flight attendant received unknown injuries.
