A Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800 on behalf of Norwegian Air Sweden, registration LN-NIQ performing flight D8-5610 from Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain) to Copenhagen (Denmark) with 165 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL380 about 130nm southwest of Hamburg (Germany) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 and diverted to Hamburg due to cabin pressure problems, that caused nose bleeds to four passengers and one cabin crew. The aircraft landed safely on Hamburg's runway 15 about 30 minutes later.

The airline reported there were cabin pressure problems during the flight, the crew decided to pretty rapidly descend. Four passengers and one member of the crew suffered nose bleeds probably because of the rapid descent. They were medically assessed after landing in Hamburg.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration SE-RPU reached Copenhagen with a delay of about 8.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Hamburg for about 21 hours, then positioned to Copenhagen and resumed service.
