A Boliviana Aviacion Boeing 767-300, registration CP-2881 performing flight OB-776 (dep Nov 17th) from Santa Cruz (Bolivia) to Madrid,SP (Spain) with 132 people on board, was enroute over the Atlantic when the outer pane of a windshield cracked. The crew decided to divert to Las Palmas' Gran Canaria Airport,CI (Spain), where the aircraft landed safely on runway 03L.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.

A replacement Boeing 767-300 registration CP-2880 was dispatched to Madrid and performed the return flight reaching Santa Cruz with a delay of 12 hours.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground until Nov 20th, then positioned back to Santa Cruz and resumed service.
