A BoA Boliviana de Aviacion Boeing 737-800, registration CP-3151 performing flight OB-972 from La Paz to Santa Cruz (Bolivia), was climbing out of La Paz's runway 28 when the crew stopped the climb at about 16000 feet due to the cabin not properly pressurizing. The aircraft returned to La Paz for a safe landing on runway 10 about 12 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 3 hours, then positioned to Cochabamba (Bolivia), remained over night in Cochabamba, then returned to La Paz and resumed service on Sep 21st 2024.
