A Delta Airlines Boeing 767-400, registration N829MH performing flight DL-143 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Detroit,MI (USA) with 147 people on board, was enroute about 90 minutes into the flight, meal service was in progress, when a flight attendant tripped over the strap of a passenger's luggage, fell and received serious injuries. The aircraft continued to Detroit for a landing without further incident.

On Nov 20th 2015 the NTSB released their brief final report concluding the probable cause of the accident was:

the flight attendant inadvertently tripping over a passenger's luggage strap that was protruding into the isle.
