The airline confirmed a technical problem which required an inspection by airport services after landing and to shut both engines down on the runway, the air conditioning ceased causing discomfort to the passengers, five of whom needed medical attention upon disembarkation due to the heat.
A listener on frequency reported the crew declared emergency reporting an engine fire, the right hand engine was shut down and the aircraft landed safely a short time later.
On Oct 16th 2015 The Aviation Herald learned that the engine was replaced.
