After about 17 hours on the ground the aircraft continued the flight and reached Amsterdam with a delay of 17.5 hours.
Passengers reported the crew announced they were diverting to Casablanca. After embarking the aircraft to continue the flight the crew apologized but did tell any more.
The airline described the occurrence as a "force majeure" and said the aircraft diverted as a precaution, due to stringent crew work time and crew rest requirements the flight could not be continued earlier.
