A Jetconnect Boeing 737-800, registration ZK-ZQB performing flight QF-37 from Melbourne,VI (Australia) to Wellington (New Zealand), was enroute at FL370 about 160nm southeast of Melbourne when the crew decided to return to Melbourne reporting hydraulic problems. On approach the crew reported the hydraulic problem had increased, they had lost the B hydraulic system. The aircraft landed safely on Melbourne's runway 34 about 80 minutes after turning around and 2 hours after departure.

The aircraft positioned to Wellington on Jun 19th.
