The NTSB reported on Sep 23rd 2014 quoting Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority, that the engine had suffered a low pressure turbine failure while enroute at FL370. The thrust lever was brought to idle, all parameters appeared normal with no warnings on the ECAM. The N1 remained at 68% while the flight continued to destination. Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority is investigatin the occurrence rated an incident, the NTSB participates in the investigation representing the state of manufacture of the engines.
