An Asiana Boeing 777-200, registration HL7739 from San Francisco,CA (USA) to Seoul (South Korea) with 285 people on board, was enroute at FL320 over the Pacific Ocean about 680nm northwest of Seattle,WA (USA) when the crew observed a low oil quantity indication for the left hand engine (PW4090). The crew reduced the engine to idle thrust, the aircraft drifted down to FL200 and diverted to Seattle for a safe landing on runway 34C about 110 minutes later.

The Canadian TSB reported on Jun 25th that the crew received an engine oil warning indication suggesting gradual loss of engine oil. The crew decided to divert to Seattle, dumped fuel and landed without further incident. Maintenance found the left engine oil filter and oil tank contaminated and replaced the engine.
