A Wideroe de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration LN-WIP performing flight WF-56 from Oslo to Roros (Norway), was in the initial climb out of Oslo's runway 19R when the crew stopped the climb and requested a right downwind to return to runway 19R reporting some technical problems, priority was needed but no assistance. The aircraft was vectored for an immediate approach to runway 19R with other traffic being redirected to runway 19L and landed safely.

An observer on the ground reported the aircraft landed with the left hand propeller feathered and taxied to the apron.

A replacement Dash 8-100 registration LN-WIA reached Roros with a delay of 2:20 hours.
