A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A340-300, registration OY-KBM performing flight SK-925 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Washington Dulles,DC (USA), was enroute at FL350 about 30nm southwest of London,EN (UK) when the crew needed to shut an engine (CFM56) down due to a suspected oil leak. The aircraft returned to Copenhagen for a safe landing on runway 22L on three engines about 2.5 hours later.

Following maintenance the incident aircraft was able to depart again after about 2.5 hours on the ground and reached Washington with a delay of 6:15 hours.
