A Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A340-300, registration OY-KBM performing flight SK-995 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Beijing (China), was climbing out of Copenhagen's runway 04R when the crew stopped the climb at FL080 reporting an engine (CFM56) bleed problem, however, there was no pressurization issue. The aircraft returned to Copenhagen for a safe landing on runway 04R about 40 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service 38 hours after landing back.
