A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration C-GJMI performing flight QK-7786 from Sault Ste Marie,ON to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 39 people on board, was enroute when the crew received a "#1 HYD ISO VALVE" message and worked the relevant checklists. While processing the checklist a caution message "R SPLR INBRD" activated and the hydraulic quantity indicated low. The crew notified dispatch to arrange for a tow truck available after landing and prepared for a landing without normal brakes, flaps, inboard roll spoilers and without the #1 rudder actuator. The crew performed a safe flapless landing on Toronto's runway 23 utilizing alternate braking. The aircraft was subsequently towed to the apron.

The Canadian TSB reported found a hole in the hydraulic case drain line through which the hydraulic fluid had depleted. The hole was caused by chafing with the engine driven pump case and the suction line. The engine driven pump, the case drain filter and the suction line were replaced.
