A US Airways Boeing 737-400, registration N449US performing flight US-1989 from Charlotte,NC to Fort Myers,FL (USA), landed on Fort Myers' runway 06 but struck its tail onto the runway surface. The crew continued the landing, rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron. There were no injuries.

The FAA reported the aircraft sustained a tail strike while landing at Ft. Myers with unknown damage.
