An American Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N784AN performing flight AA-136 from Los Angeles,CA (USA) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was enroute at FL330 about 180nm northeast of Las Vegas,NV (USA) when the crew received a right hydraulic quantity low indication shortly followed by a low right hydraulic pressure indication. The crew shut the right hand engine (Trent 892) down, turned around and returned to Los Angeles for a safe landing about one hour later.

A replacement Boeing 777-200 registration N751AN reached London with a delay of 16.5 hours.
