An Ural Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration VQ-BOZ performing ferry flight U6-9887 from Kazan to Novosibirsk (Russia) with 3 crew, had been enroute at FL090 maximum. While landing at Novosibirsk's Tolmachevo Airport the automatic brakes failed, the crew managed to stop the aircraft safely. A post flight inspection however revealed that the inboard right main gear tyre had deflated as result of the brakes failure.

Rosaviatsia opened an inquiry in the occurrence.

The aircraft had sustained substantial damage in Kazan when the aircraft contacted the localizer antenna while initiating a go-around, see Accident: Ural A321 at Kazan on Jan 25th 2013, aircraft struck localizer antenna during go-around.
