An Eurowings Airbus A320-200N, registration D-AENF performing flight EW-2974 from Stuttgart (Germany) to Marrakesh (Morocco), was accelerating for takeoff from Stuttgart's runway 25 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 95 knots over ground). The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

A replacement Airbus A321-200N registration D-AEEA reached Marrakesh with a delay of about 2.5 hours.

A passenger reported the aircraft rejected takeoff due to engine trouble, the passenger wasn't sure whether at high speed or not due to the braking. The replacement aircraft showed the special "Holiday" livery.
