An Air India Boeing 777-300, registration VT-ALQ performing flight AI-126 from Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) to Delhi (India), was enroute at FL330 over the Atlantic Ocean about 180nm south of Kulusuk (Greenland) when the crew decided to return to Chicago due to multiple toilets failing until only one business class toilet remained usable. The aircraft landed safely back in Chicago about 9:50 hours after departure.

The airline reported the aircraft returned to Chicago due to a technical issue.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Chicago about 39 hours after landing.
