An Air India Airbus A350-900, registration VT-JRF performing flight AI-111 from Delhi (India) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was enroute at FL360 over eastern Saudi Arabia when the aircraft encountered turbulence followed by unusual vibrations of the airframe and noise from the cargo hold. The crew decided to turn around and return to Delhi, climbed to FL370 and landed safely back in Delhi about 6.5 hours after departure.

The airline reported a technical issue.
